A show of hands for human rights
December 20, 2021
On December 10 in 1948, the United Nations adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. That day is now International Human Rights Day, when we reflect on and celebrate human rights—the strides we’ve made, and the journey that still lies ahead.
At DCM we recognize that human rights are at the heart of our approach to diversity, equity and inclusion. So we set aside a week, December 6th to 10th, to mark the day. We invited associates to share their thoughts on human rights—what they mean, and why they’re important—and post them, using cut-out mittens, on banners at DCM locations across the country.
